 Single 'J' type nib No. 5010B by British Pens Ltd, Birmingham.

'J' type nib No. 5010B is an annealed blue nib with a straight cut tip.
Good ink flow with a medium to strong flex.
Typical 'J' type nib for lettering in Roundhand or similar style.

Smooth feel across the paper.

Fits the William Mitchel Multi purpose holder.

British Pens Ltd was the Company name given to the joining of some well known pen manufacturers in about 1920. These firms included William Mitchell and HinksWells, by the 1930's they were the second largest pen makers in England. William Mitchell were renown for making lettering pens, HinksWells for Lettering and Artists pens and Joseph Gillott for Artists pens - drawing and litographic pens
